Najib's statement Learned From mStar

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the world would be safer and more secure following the death of terrorist leader Al-Qaeda, Osman bin Laden, in an operation by the security of the United States with Pakistan outside Islamabad on Monday.

The Prime Minister said that Osama's death is also a lesson that violence does not make any good otherwise bring harm to all parties.

"I hope that in future, the world will be more aware that terrorism is not an approach that should be done to achieve any goal," he told reporters after opening the Open House celebration of Vaisakhi 1 Malaysia at Dataran Merdeka here.

Najib said the Malaysian government has taken the attitude against any form of violence and understanding of extreme or outrageous.

"This is consistent with the principles of Islam in the killing of civilians is strongly prohibited and forbidden by Islam," he said.

He said Osama had used Islam in his struggle and had a fairly negative image of Islam and the bad. "That's why, as a country where the majority of Muslims, we must also show our stand, in which we uphold Islam, we fight injustice, and so on, we must uphold the principle that permitted or in accordance with the requirements of Islam." he said.

The Prime Minister said the 9 / 11 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings in New York, 2001 which was designed by Osama can not be accepted by anyone who has the values of civilization and is not acceptable in the sight of Islam.

He said that the injustice can not be pursued through the use of force or by the killing of innocent civilians.

He said the people of this country should reject any form of violence because of the policy based approach to achieve simplicity Wassatiah or something that is advocated.

Commenting on the actions of the United States, Najib said that despite taking 10 years, the victims will continue to demand vengeance against violence inflicted on civilians who are victims of murder.

Touching the actions of Al-Qaeda network on the national security threat, he said, at present, there are signs that members of the group was in the country.
However, he said police will be on high alert to detect any group that wants to threaten national security because of sympathy with the death of the founder of the group A-Qaeda.

"This is a blow to Al-Qaeda does not mean they will be buried at all, we can not assume that everything has already expired.

"But it is clear that the group that lost power with the loss of Osama bin Laden is a source of inspiration to the movement," he said. -BERNAMA

Statement of General pass feedback Mursyidul Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat Learned From TVS

View Prime Minister Najib Razak that the world is supposedly more secure with the death of Osama bin Laden as being prudent and "aims to show himself as a supporter of America," said the Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat.

"If the world is safer with Osama's death, whether the world is safer with the existence of the United States?" Nik Aziz asked.

Najib yesterday was reported as saying the world would be safer and more secure with al-Qaeda leader kamatian it.

Even the Prime Minister described the death of Osama as a lesson that violence brings harm to all parties.

Nik Aziz said the if it is Osama killed by the U.S. yesterday, as a Muslim he should pray for mercy and forgiveness that fellow brothers. "This is required by Islam when receiving news of the death of his fellow.

"The amount of any offense is a Muslim, when he died in the Islamic religion, forgiveness should be sought against the other Muslim brothers," he said in a statement.

Nik Aziz, who is also Mursyidul Am PAS, however, leave it to God on the alleged involvement of Osama with terrorism because it is disseminated through the propaganda that the United States pioneered."If indeed he was involved with kegananasan, I certainly do not support violence.

"However, the involvement of terrorist Osama is still a vague news that could not be confirmed, but the involvement of the United States has proven itself in violence," he said.

"What about the U.S. actions against Israel are openly committing acts of terror in Palestine? Not only does not act, even Amerikalah the strong support of Israel.

"So, if Osama considered as terrorists, then Israel should be referred to as the more violent and American forces also can not escape from termed as terrorism," he said.

Excerpt From Statement Feedback PUM Keadilandaily

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Ulama Association statement said the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak that Osama Ben Laden's death would make the world a safer and more secure, as less accurate.

PUM President, Dato Sheikh Abdul Halim Abdul Kadir said this was because the United States itself is considered an imperialist country that is always trying to expand their influence throughout the world, especially Islamic countries sponsoring terrorism.

"The fact that Najib may be less accurate because the real power of his own American imperialism will continue to expand their influence throughout the world that actually encourage terrorism itself," said Sheikh Abdul Halim.

He also believed that world peace depends not only on the death of a Muslim who is often labeled a terrorist like Osama.

"Security is basically a fairness as an idea that will eliminate oppression. "
"To ensure that justice is taking place, it requires joint efforts. An individual alone would not be able to establish justice, or even trigger violence, "said Sheikh Abdul Halim.

Anwar confident PAS won’t leave Pakatan

May 03, 2011
Anwar: As far as PKR is concerned we have to trust in the PAS leadership and president to keep us informed.
PETALING JAYA, May 3 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed confidence today PAS will not accept Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s invitation to leave Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and join the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.

Anwar said the Umno president’s latest move show that the ruling coalition was on the brink of desperation in wanting to remain in power.

“I have full faith and confidence in the PAS leadership...Umno is desperate in wanting to create tension between PAS and PKR.

“As far as PKR is concerned we have to trust in the PAS leadership and president to keep us informed,” Anwar told reporters today.

PAS leaders were amused and have ridiculed Najib’s invitation for the party to ditch Pakatan Rakyat (PR) by joining the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.

The prime minister earlier said that PAS must work together with Umno for the sake of the Malay and Muslim community, telling the Islamist party that it could not achieve its aim while partnering with the DAP.

“Why play nice with DAP? Does DAP champion Islam?” Najib asked in Kuala Terengganu over the weekend.

Najib’s invitation follows a call last weekend by Umno-owned daily Utusan Malaysia for a “1 Melayu, 1 Bumi” campaign to unite the Malays against what the newspaper said was racial politics by the DAP to stir up Chinese sentiment.

But MCA has objected to PAS’s entry, saying it should drop its Islamic state ambitions. Najib said yesterday he did not want to be dragged in the debate over PAS’s stand.

Anwar launched into a verbal tirade against Najib today and accused the PM of being a hypocrite.

“Umno’s proposal is desperate- 1 Malaysia to the Chinese and Indians, but 1 Malay to the Malay...thinking Malaysians are not smart.

“This smacks of hyprocrisy, inconsistency on Najib’s part, he keeps playing on Malay unity talks with PAS, quite desperate,” added Anwar.

Najib’s invitation continues concerted efforts by Umno post-Election 2008 to get PAS to join forces in the name of Malay-Muslim unity.

The subject of unity talks between PAS and Umno dominated the 2009 PAS Muktamar, which saw a number of leaders keen on exploring talks with Umno emerging big winners.

More recently, top PAS and Umno leadership met at a Christmas Eve dinner hosted by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong last year, during which the subject of Malay unity was once again broached.

Sources told The Malaysian Insider the move then to bring PAS into the BN entailed both PAS president Datuk Abdul Hadi Awang and his deputy Nasharuddin Mat Isa being given a prominent role in Putrajaya if the party decides to abandon PR, but spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat continues to be the major obstacle in bringing PAS closer to the ruling coalition.

Following the furore over the Christmas Eve meet, Hadi reassured his partners in PR that the Islamist party was committed to remaining in the pact.

In an interview with The Malaysian Insider last year, PAS spiritual advisor Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat said there was no possibility of PAS working with Umno or joining BN.

“Absolutely not. There is no way that PAS would even consider unity talks with Umno,” he had said.

He recounted how PAS had in the past briefly joined BN and that it resulted in a divided PAS.

According to Nik Aziz, back in 1971 PAS had joined BN’s bandwagon when the late Tun Abdul Razak — Najib’s father — extended an invitation to the Islamist party.

“Umno was desperate back then, especially after the May 13 riots in 1969. When PAS joined BN, PAS Kelantan was split into four groups, and we were not united because each group supported a different idea,” he said.

Nik Aziz pointed out that Umno eventually “kicked PAS out” of the BN coalition.

Sea burial of Osama bin Laden breaks sharia law, say Muslim scholars

US decision to dispose of body in the sea prevents grave site becoming a shrine but clerics warn it may lead to reprisals

Osama bin Laden's burial at sea was quickly criticised by Muslim scholars who claimed it had breached sharia law and warned that it may provoke calls for revenge attacks against US targets.

Others used the sea burial question to question whether he was dead at all, with doubts fuelled by the absence of authentic photographs of his corpse.

US officials said tests using DNA from several of Bin Laden's family members had provided "virtual certainty" that it was his body. A woman believed to be one of Bin Laden's wives identified the al-Qaida leader, and he was visually identified by members of the US raiding party, the Pentagon said. Burying him on land could have led to his grave becoming a focus of contention and pilgrimage as well as posing tough questions about where he should be laid to rest.

"Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult," a US official said. "So the US decided to bury him at sea." The burial reportedly took place from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson in the North Arabian sea.

Senior US officials told news agencies that his body was disposed of in accordance with Islamic tradition, which involves ritual washing, shrouding and burial within 24 hours.

The 24-hour rule has not always been applied in the past. For example, the bodies of Uday and Qusay Hussein – sons of the Iraqi dictator Saddam – were embalmed and held for 11 days after they were killed by US forces. Their bodies were later shown to media, provoking some angry responses.

It remains unclear if the US will release photos of Bin Laden's remains, but dispelling any doubts that he is dead is likely to be a major impetus – particularly in an age when conspiracy theories can be powerfully manipulated on the web.

In a hint that such a release may be on the cards, John Brennan, Barack Obama's counter-terrorism adviser said: "We are going to do everything we can to make sure that nobody has any basis to try to deny that we got Osama bin Laden." He added that the US will "share what we can because we want to make sure that not only the American people but the world understand exactly what happened."

Brad Sagarin, a psychologist at Northern Illinois University who studies persuasion, said the rapid disposal of the body "would certainly be a rich sort of kernel for somebody to grasp on to if they were motivated to disbelieve this."

Citing the example of those who refuse to believe that Barack Obama is a US citizen, he added: "As with the birther conspiracy, there's going to be a set of people who are never going to be convinced. People filter the information they receive through their current attitudes, their current perspectives."

Already, doubt is spreading in Pakistan. Many people do not want to believe that Bin Laden is really dead, even though an al-Qaida spokesman, in vowing vengeance against America, called him a martyr, offering no challenge to the US account of his death.

In the immediate aftermath, people in Abbottabad expressed widespread disbelief that Bin Laden had died or ever lived among them.

"I'm not ready to buy Bin Laden was here," said Haris Rasheed, 22, who works in a fast food restaurant. "How come no one knew he was here and why did they bury him so quickly? This is all fake, a drama, and a crude one."

Kamal Khan, 25, who is unemployed, said the official story "looks fishy".

In terms of the basic requirements for Muslim burials, standard practice involves placing the body in a grave with the head pointed toward the holy city of Mecca. Burial at sea is rare in Islam, though Muslim websites say it is permitted in certain circumstances. One is during a long voyage where the body may decompose and pose a health hazard to a ship's passengers, an exception noted on Monday by Tunisian scholar Ahmed al-Gharbi. Another is if there is a risk of enemies digging up a and grave and exhuming or mutilating the body.

Dr Saud al-Fanisan, former dean of the faculty of sharia law in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, said that if a body was buried at sea it should be protected from fish. In the words of alislam.org, the body should be lowered into the water "in a vessel of clay or with a weight tied to its feet".

Mohammed al-Qubaisi, Dubai's grand mufti, said of Bin Laden's burial: "They can say they buried him at sea, but they cannot say they did it according to Islam. Sea burials are permissible for Muslims in extraordinary circumstances. This is not one of them."

Abdul-Sattar al-Janabi, who preaches at Baghdad's Abu Hanifa mosque, said: "What was done by the Americans is forbidden by Islam and might provoke some Muslims.

"It is not acceptable and it is almost a crime to throw the body of a Muslim man into the sea. The body of Bin Laden should have been handed over to his family to look for a country to bury him."

The radical Lebanon-based cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed said: "The Americans want to humiliate Muslims through this burial, and I don't think this is in the interest of the US administration."

The Egyptian analyst and lawyer Montasser el-Zayat said Bin Laden's sea burial was designed to prevent his grave from becoming a shrine. But an option was an unmarked grave. "They don't want to see him become a symbol," he said. "But he is already a symbol in people's hearts."

Perutusan Hari Kebebasan Media Sedunia oleh DAP

| May 03, 2011 04:03:03 pm

Seperti yang disebut-sebutkan,"The Devil may quote the Scriptures for its purpose!".

Hata says to remain NUJ chief

May 03, 2011

PUTRAJAYA, May 3 — Mohamed Hata Wahari said today he will remain the president of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) Malaysia until his brainchild, Utusan Rakyat, gets a publishing permit.

Hata was recently sacked from Utusan Malaysia for making remarks critical of the Umno-owned newspaper’s editorial slant.

But he vowed today to continue leading the union for greater media freedom.

Hata said he was terminated from his senior journalist post on April 21, a week after the Umno-owned paper’s disciplinary inquiry said he was guilty of breaching the terms of his contract.

“This is my fight to see that the media is ethical and responsible and YB (Nurul Izzah Anwar) is one of the advisers for the editorial team for Utusan Rakyat, so this paper’s concept, even though from the editorial team, the advisory board will advise, or if the stories are against reporter’s ethics, the advisory board will act on its own,” Hata told reporters here after a meeting with a representative for the Home Ministry.

He said the meeting was to ensure that the ministry could give space to ethical, responsible and unbiased media and to explain the “process of Utusan Rakyat”.

“We asked KDN (Home Ministry) to approve the publication of Utusan Rakyat. I explained to them that with Utusan Rakyat, we want to be pro-rakyat not just pro-governing party or pro-opposition party, BN or Pakatan Rakyat,” he said.

Hata said the representative from the Home Ministry, publishing secretary Datuk Abdul Aziz, had pledged to consider the application.

Nurul Izzah, a PKR vice-president, said she was hopeful about getting an approval to publish the weekly and to use the name Utusan Rakyat.

“They cannot justify why we should take it back, aside from the possibility of confusion,” she said, referring to Utusan Malaysia.

“I think we must give more respect and recognition to Malaysians they are much better versed in the language than some ministers so I believe they can discern accordingly,” she said.

Hata said the ministry was concerned that the public might confuse the bipartisan weekly with the Umno-owned daily but stressed that name Utusan Rakyat was the “soul” of the paper.

“I will let go of my position as NUJ president if the permit is approved and if I’m the editor in chief.

“So we’ll wait for KDN’s approval,” he said.

Hata said the Utusan letter dated April 21 said the three-man domestic inquiry panel had decided to sack him with immediate effect for making statements to online news portals that damaged the credibility of the newspaper.

“After taking into account factors presented during the domestic inquiry and the circumstances surrounding the charges, the company has no choice but to terminate you with immediate effect from this letter’s date of issue,” read the eight-page letter sent to Hata.

Hata has 14 days from the notice date to appeal the decision.

Dua Kelulusan Atas Tapak Sama, YDP Perlu Jawab

WAJAH SEBENAR PIMPINAN UMNO

PERGOLAKAN UMNO SEMAKIN MERUNCING
